Stress Relief strategies for Busy Business people so that they can stay focused and avoid stressful situations like worrying about the future

Stress Relief strategies for Busy Business people so that they can stay focused and avoid stressful situations like worrying about the future. Stress relief is very easy to accomplish if you apply the appropriate strategy.

Stress Relief strategies are very simple if you were to practice some form of relaxation more often. However, busy business people must first decide what they want in order to experience stress relief.

Let me explain:

Brenda is a first year university student. She is worrying about how she is going to pay back her student loan 5 years from today.

What is it that Brenda wants?

Does Brenda want to finish here second year and then her third year? No! No! No! Brenda is today thinking of finishing her 4th year. The problem with this strategy is that Brenda is focused. This focused energy however, does not allow Brenda to focus for success and enjoy the moment.

Brenda’s story reminds me of Henry another client who wants to buy a house. Henry wants to buy a home for his wife and family. He has qualified for a mortgage. Henry does not want to be in debt and so to be a home owner and have a mortgage creates a very stressful situation for him.

Unless Henry has the cash to pay for the house he will have to take out a mortgage. A mortgagewif as you know comes with a monthly payment. Wait there is more… his wife is bugging him to buy a house. Henry is in double trouble because he really does not know what to do or whom to please.

Henry like Brenda is focusing on what they do not want. Henry does not want to be in debt and Brenda is worrying about paying off her student loan.

One way you can constantly feel overwhelmed is to focus on what you do not want.

Busy business people may take a moment to see if there are focused. If they are focused, are they focused on what they want or what the want to avoid?

So what is the moral of the story?

You cannot focus on avoiding stressful situations in order to experience stress relief.

Secret strategies for Stay at home or working moms to relax and enjoy stress relief so that they can stay focused

Secret strategies for stay at home or working moms to relax and enjoy stress relief so that they can stay focused. These strategies are very simple and allow stay at home or working moms to improve their listening skills.

Stress relief come from listening “in”, however we sometimes tend to listen “out.”

Let me explain.

Listening “out” means you’re minding other people’s business and wanting to help others. Some stay at home or working moms may want to help other people because they think they need help. This perception may be rooted in a particular belief that someone is dumb, stupid or ignorant.

Therefore some (stay at home and working moms) believe that they have the right to educate that person and teach them how to avoid stressful situations.

The truth is, that person may be all or some of those things.

Wait there is more. How often have you been receptive to someone, telling you what to do even if it is in your best interest?

Some people want to learn, but most people are happy in there present circumstance. Change requires effort and the feeling of a degree of uncertainty. For instance I have been teaching Relaxation and Meditation Classes for over 14 years and people always tell me that they need to learn to relax.

I have sent them a brochure or given them info on how to stay focused. I have seen very few of these people at my classes. If I happen to see them after the event then I get all kinds of excuses.

If you do not know the difference between people who want to learn and people who are happy in their present state you could be butting your head against a stone.

How do you indentify people who want to learn?

Generally, people who want to learn or change to a focused state of stress relief act quickly.

Others need to think about it because they have to ask their friends and associates for permission. If they cannot answer all the questions asked by their friends and colleagues about the benefits of getting stress relief, then it feels safer to stay in their present state. This is an example of listening “out”

So what is listening “in” ;

Listening “in” means that as a stay at home or working mom you have chosen to take stress relief classes to help you relax and stay focused and you do not need permission.

Listening “in” is when you are not locking yourself out of the house.

Listening “in” means that you have been practicing listening to your messages and taking action.

Listening “in” means that you are not all stressed out after talking to your friends on the telephone.

Listening “in” means that as a stay at home or working mom that you can find more time to stop and slow down, in spite of the turbulence of daily living.

Listening “in” means that you are going with the flow and not forcing things to happen.

So what is the morale of the story?

When you stay focused on what you want you will enjoy stress relief.

Stressful situations can teach busy business people how to improve your health while welcoming stress as a friend rather than an enemy.

Stressful situations can teach busy business people how to improve your health while welcoming stress as a friend rather than an enemy. Stress can create profound changes in your life which may result in stress relief.

Let me explain:

After my divorce I started teaching Relaxation and Meditation. I was a professional sales person in the corporate world for over 20 years. I managed the stress of work very well considering the color of my skin is black.

However, in my relationship I endured a very stressful situation. The perception in 1976 in Toronto, Canada, was that the idea of selling for any major corporation was not a good idea.

The stressful situation of being successful in the corporate world forced me to be creative in order to survive. Creativity can also produce some health issues if there is no emotional support at home.

I suffered from excruciating back pain as a health consequence of the stress of living. I was forced to find a solution to my health issue because all of the traditional methods such as chiropractic methods, pills and massages did not work.

You see back pain helped me to avoid stressful situations. The health challenge of a stressful back helped me to discover my gift of teaching relaxation and meditation. Consequently, I now understand how to welcome stress as a friend rather than an enemy.

The turning point in the lives of people who have had profound effects on our lives has come from stress.

Permit me to share three examples with you:

1. Christ died on the cross. Think of the stress he endured. Christians are now enjoying the benefits of stress relief because of his stress of suffering.

2. Mahatma Gandhi influenced his people to take the stress of beating from the British soldiers in order to gain the independence and stress relief for the people of India.

In case you are not aware Mahatma Gandhi’s only weapon was the wrap he wore and the attitude of taking the beatings of the British soldiers and not fighting back.

3. Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for so many years that when he was finally released from prison his children were all adults. Just imagine the stress of an angry man. This stress however resulted in the transformation of Mandela.

Mandela was able to survive by using the stress of imprisonment as a motivator for greater accomplishments. Mandela became the 11th President of South Africa.

I am wondering if busy business people were to consider for a moment some of the major stressful situations in their lives. Perhaps they may notice how they have influence them to become a better person. Your comments are always welcomed.

Stay at home moms can learn how to stay focused and avoid the health consequences of lack of focus for success so that they can enjoy stress relief.

Stay at home moms can learn how to stay focused and avoid the health consequences of lack of focus for success so that they can enjoy stress relief. This focus is possible through a very simple process of paying attention to your lawn.

Let me explain:

A dry, brown lawn aches for stress relief just like you need air conditioning in sweltering heat. The lawn needs to be nourished by being watered regularly.

Watering regularly allows the soil to become moist so that the water can seep into the soil and provide stress relief to the lawn, rather than the water running off the dry, brown lawn.

As the lawn is watered and cut regularly it begins to experience a gradual relaxing change in color from brown to green. This color change begins the process of focus for success. The grass is brought to life and relieved from stress instead of being limp and motionless. It now starts to relax, move and breathe with the wind.

A program of regular watering and maintenance allows the grass to avoid the health consequences of lack of focus for success. As the grass learns how to relax there is a gradual increase of stress relief to the once dormant looking brown grass. The Lawn is now being transformed into a green, lively, luscious lawn that now has feelings and can share those feelings with stay at home moms as they walk on the grass.

Sometimes stay at home moms may be too busy with life and stop living and enjoying stress relief. They may become like the dry, brown grass which feels totally neglected.

However the grass is at the mercy of its owner. Sometimes the owner maybe busy avoiding stressful situations to water the grass. This means that the grass is not allowed to have better health and experience stress relief.

The question then becomes; Stay at home moms are at whose mercies when they neglect themselves like the dry brown grass?

Stay at home moms can stay focused and experience great health, stress relief and wonderful color in their lives, whenever they find more time to stop and nourish their dry brown lawn.
