If you believe that buying your girlfriends lavish gifts will get you stress relief and happiness then you need to read the rest of this story.Let me explainHarry got great satisfaction and stress relief by showering his girlfriends with gifts. As far as Harry was concerned this was the only way he knew how to express his affection. In return Harry expected that because he was a “good person” that his girlfriends would appreciate him.

However, Harry was totally stressed in every relationship because he never seems to get any stress relief in return for all the love he thought he had been expressing.

Lost his hair

It took Harry many relationships to understand that he was attempting to buy love and affection because of the stress that kept knocking him out. On one occasion the stress affected his health so badly that he lost a
lot the hair on his head. After another traumatic break-up Harry finally realized it was no longer necessary to buy lavish gifts in order get love and affection and experience stress relief.

So what is the moral of the story?

Before you can receive love and affection through buying lavish gifts for others, you need to be able to first buy simple gifts for yourself.

When you can accept yourself, others will also accept you as well and there will be no need for lavish gifts.
