<div><span style="font-size: x-small;">I started doing some personal development seminars. NLP is one of the fascinating things I started to play with.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size: x-small;">That whole issue of stress causing you to be in the hospital with chest pain is a myth because I wasn&#8217;t looking out for myself. I wasn&#8217;t focused.</span></div>

I was attempting to do too many things and was all over the place.</span></p>

In a partnership, we need to understand adjustments have got to be made.</p>

<p>When I admitted that there was a health issue, I decided, &#8220;Fine, if there is a health issue, how I solve the health issue?&#8221;<br />
You solve the health issue by being focused.</p>
<p><strong>Tip #6:</strong></p>
<p>I ate properly and stayed 9 to 3.</p>
<p>I was very effective and efficient to do something else.</p>
<p><strong>Tip #7:</strong></p>
<p>People say, &#8220;How can you be so busy and get work done?&#8221; You can get work done if you&#8217;re focused. When you&#8217;re focused, it&#8217;s amazing how much you can accomplish.</p>
<p><strong>Tip #8:</strong></p>
<p>As a consequence of being aware that there was a discomfort and pain in my chest, that made me more aware of my health and helped me to understand, &#8220;This is your health. You need to look after yourself.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>Tip #9:<br />
</strong><br />
I was very involved in the community looking after everybody else except myself. This was a message to me saying, &#8220;Uh, uh. It&#8217;s time for you to stop.&#8221;</p>
<p><strong>Tip #10:<br />
</strong><br />
When I stopped to pay attention to that, that&#8217;s when my whole gift of relaxation and meditation was able to come true. I realized I had a gift and wasn&#8217;t using it.</p>
<p>The chest pain for me was very profound because it triggered a ripple effect in regard to health that has allowed me to be where I am today and to teach what I do today.</p>
<p>One of the biggest obstacles that prevent entrepreneurs and solopreneurs from having a point of focus is that we are too busy chasing the latest FAD. Consequently, we are easily distracted and lose our sense of purpose.</p>
<p>I hope I have helped to change your thinking. When you realize how simple and easy it is to improve your relationship on a daily basis, you will look forward with excitement to search and find more opportunities to have fun each day.</p>

<div><span style="font-size: x-small;"> </span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;"><strong>Cecil:</strong> No. You can&#8217;t do that because you are too stressed out to even consider it. You&#8217;re an intelligent person, we give you credit for that, but you&#8217;re tied up in a knot. In that state, you&#8217;re oblivious to everything.</span></div>
<p><span style="font-size: x-small;">What I&#8217;ve found from my private practice is that nothing happens and this continues and continues until somebody says, &#8220;I&#8217;m leaving the relationship,&#8221; or &#8220;I&#8217;ve had enough of this. I&#8217;m going to go.&#8221;</span></p>
<p>That&#8217;s how clients come to me. They say, &#8220;Cecil, I&#8217;ve been to therapists and I still have this problem. Nobody seems to help me.</p>

<p>Then I say, &#8220;Nobody is listening to you.&#8221; I teach them how to listen, and then all of a sudden the relationship comes back together and they are fine.</p>
<p>The problem is that you need to hit a bump in a road or something has to happen in that relationship so somebody says, &#8220;I&#8217;m leaving,&#8221; and then they say, &#8220;We&#8217;d better get some help.&#8221;</p>

<div><span style="font-size: x-small;">If you would like to avoid working hard and I know you do, here are 4 stunningly simple ways to avoid work place stress.</span></div>

<div><span style="font-size: x-small;"><strong>1. Roll with the punches<br />
</strong><br />
One of the problems in the work place is lack of communication. Most people you speak with are in a hurry and they want what they want NOW.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;"> </span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;">You need to understand that this behaviour is due to the fact that they too, are probably stressed out and overworked. Try not to get caught up in it or take your conversations personally.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;"><strong>2. Get up and sweat it out<br />

You may consider changing your lifestyle and try exercising if you have not exercised before. If you are not a stranger to exercising or working out, this is just a gentle reminder to get started again.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;">Exercising could be as simple as going for a walk. You can also find a partner to exercise with or you can join a group class.</span></div>
<div><span style="font-size: x-small;">The other alternative would be to hire a personal trainer.</span></div>

</strong><br />
It is very difficult to drive your car without gas or fuel. Likewise it is very difficult for you to function if there is not enough fuel in your body.</p>
<p>So you need to eat properly, meaning, having three proper meals a day. These meals need to be balanced with all the proper food that contain the essential vitamins and nutrients that your body needs. Avoid binging on fast food entrees that have high salt and fat content.</p>
<p>Start by having a healthy breakfast every day.</p>
<p><strong>4. Manage your caffeine fixation</strong></p>
<p>Do you find yourself needing a caffeine fix to get through the day?</p>
<p>A cup of coffee is good but if you&#8217;re not careful you may sooner or later find yourself needing several jolts of caffeine just to make it through the day.</p>
<p>Remember, the more coffee you take, the more coffee you need. And that&#8217;s not a good thing.</p>
<p>So coffee is only a temporary fix and there are other natural ways to boost your energy without caffeine.</p>

<p>Watch children playing and laughing in the park or on the school playground. Laughing is contagious. Try it, you&#8217;ll soon find others laughing right with you. What a great source of coping with stress.</p>
<h3>Eating healthy, resting fully, and exercising regularly helps release tension and anxiety.</h3>
<p><font size="2">Eat healthy, rest fully, and exercise regularly. These three things can go far in helping you cope with stress and anxiety. Giving your body the proper nutrition will keep you healthier and help your self-esteem.</font></p>
<p>Allowing your body to relax and rejuvenate while you sleep will help you prepare for any stress that may come your way the following day.</p>
<p>Physical activity will help you feel and look better. When you feel and look better, your self-esteem grows and you feel more confident in facing life&#8217;s stress. Choose an activity that you like and makes you feel happy, and then take part in that activity at least five times a week.</p>
<h3>Dance, walk and play are simple ways to reduce anxiety and stress</h3>

<p><font size="2">You can dance, walk, play with children or grandchildren, jog, or go bowling. All are good physical activities that help us cope with normal stress and anxiety.</font></p>
<p>It is normal for all of us to feel periods of stress and anxiety. If we are not able to cope with them, we are doing our bodies harm and threatening our own survival.</p>
