How do you get stress relief from an itch? Sounds impossible
Let me explain
Itching can bring stress relief if you accept the itching as a message. However, you may tend to want to get rid of the itch and really scratch your skin badly until it welts up. Itching can be a message of stress relief by accepting the itch rather than trying to get rid of it.
Here is the solution
The next time you have an itch, rather than scratching madly, I want you to accept the itch.
If you were to sit in a quiet place in a comfortable position and count back slowly from 10 -1.and then decide in your mind that you are going to accept the itch rather than scratching it, then there will be no itch but stress relief from the itch.
Give it a whirl and see what happens for you.
