Parents and working moms can enjoy stress relief, get more done, and improve your health and personal growth. Stress relief can come from unexpected circumstances.
Let me explain:
Violet had broken up with her ex-boyfriend two years ago. One day Violet saw her ex. with his new lover. She felt that she had made profound changes in her life and was experiencing stress relief from their relationship.
In other words Violet could now get more done and improve her personal growth. She though she was better off without him.
Violet really wanted to prove to him how well she had done and what a “bone head” he was to dump her.
Wait there is more…
So Violet slowly crossed the street on a hot summer’s day to confront her ex. Her ex. ignored her and she felt totally humiliated.
After recovering from this fiasco, Violet remembered that she was good, “dam good,” and she did not have to prove or demonstrate her personal growth or feeling of stress relief to anyone.
If you as working moms and parents have really changed your behavior in some way you will experience stress relief, others will notice and tell you how you have changed.
The secret is to continue improving your perspective on life without expecting acknowledgment from other people.
So what is the moral of the story?
When you know and or feel good about yourself then like a pebble in the water you will effect change and experience profound stress relief.

As being a Mother. Wanting only the best for my children.
Sometimes I need to step back, and just accept my children for who they
are. Embrace the Love in my children and friends.
Hi Deborah,
As a mother it is sometimes very difficult to step back and let go. The longer you attempt to hang on to your chilldren the more stressful your life becomes.
Let me tell you, as a Dad of four children letting go was not easy. However, when I understood how to let go and accept my children I experienced profound stress relief.
So how do you accept and let go? Or how do you know that you have accepted and let go?
Children will be children. Each child is different. The challenge is wanting the best for your children and not getting caught up in pleasing them and forsaking your values.
Values are the thing you hold important to you. Like giving your children what they need instead of what they want.
Accepting and letting go starts at home. Your children will get some scrapes and bruises. When you can allow them to “fall” without picking them up then you are beginning to discover how it feels let go and accept.
Peace,
Cecil.
